In part-1 of this article I had written about classical combinations about eye problems and about cataract. In second part of the article I will write about some more eye problems. After Cataract Glaucoma is a major eye problem. Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of total blindness. Glaucoma is caused when humours of the eye are unable to drain through tiny canals in the choroid. It gradually builds pressure in the eyes which leads to damage the nerves in the retina.
Below given chart belongs to a person who suffered from Glaucoma. His chart is given below. Birth particulars 
are not given to conceal his identity.
His lagna lord Sun is in 12th house. Sun is with Mars, Mercury and Venus. Mercury and Mars are combust. Second house is in Rahu-Ketu axis. Moon representing left eye is aspected by Saturn and Mars. Hence second house, twelfth house, Sun and Moon are under affliction. There is problem in his both eyes. But 12th house and Moon indicating left eye are more afflicted. Hence he has more problem in his left eye. In Navamsa there is 
exchange of houses between Mars and Sun. Association of Jupiter with Mars is not useful because Jupiter is eighth and eleventh lord. Venus is aspected by Mars. Second house is in Rahu-Ketu axis and second lord is in sixth house. Moon is conjunct Saturn. In Navamsa also eye disease is clearly indicated. I have found that in cases of Glaucoma Mercury is also afflicted in addition to usual afflictions of eye diseases and affliction generally comes from Saturn. It is perhaps due to the fact that Glaucoma is caused due to damage to the nerves and Mercury and Saturn both represent nerves.
Let me take one more example of Glaucoma to make my point clear. Horoscope has been taken from,” Advance Medical Astrology” by Dr.S.S.Chatterjee (P-279).
Mercury is in Rahu-Ketu axis. It is further aspected by Saturn from the sixth house. All combination of eye trouble are also present in the horoscope. See one more chart of glaucoma taken from P-84 of Dr Jagannath Rao(Principles and Practice of 
Medical Astrology):- Here also Mercury is in Rahu-Ketu axis. Rahu is aspecting Mercury from a Capricorn sign of Saturn. Moreover Rahu is like Saturn.
Farsightedness is an eye defect that causes the lens to focus at the point behind the retina instead of focussing on it. Persons who are far sighted find it difficult to see nearby objects clearly. The defect is overcome by placing a convex lens in front of the eye.
Near sightedness is the result of light focussed at a point in front of the retina instead of focussing on it. This defect is overcome by placing a concave lens in front of the eye. One more eye disease related to lens of the eye is Presbyopia. It is caused by a loss of elasticity of the lens and a consequent loss in the ability to accommodate. This defect can also be overcome by wearing glasses.
Lens of the eyes is represented by Venus. Hence all the above three eye diseases are caused when Venus is also afflicted/weak in addition to usual afflictions of eye diseases.
Let us take a horoscope to understand it. It is horoscope of a minor child who used to wear spectacles in childhood.
Lagna and Sun of this child is not only in Rahu-Ketu axis but is also in MB( Mrityu Bhaga) degree. It is also aspected by SaturnR from the fourth house. It afflicts Lagna and Sun both. Moon is not only in 12th house but is also conjunct Mars. Second lord Mercury is in first house. It is not only retrograde but afflicted also. All combinations for eye diseases are present. Venus is hemmed in between malefic effects. It has aspect of SaturnR on one side and Mars on another side. This child is wearing glasses since the tender age of seven years.He is also likely to suffer from Glaucoma as his Mercury is also afflicted.His parents were advised accordingly.
One more disease that is managed by placing a lens in front of the eyes is Astigmatism. Astigmatism is a blurring of the image at certain points due to slight imperfection in the cornea, which distorts the light rays as they pass through it. Vision is sharpened by placing in front of the eye a lens shaped to compensate for unequal curvature of the cornea. There is no special planet governing the cornea. But vision in general is controlled by Venus. Hence Venus should be weak/afflicted in addition to other afflictions. Unfortunately no chart of this disease is available with me.

Remedial Measures for Eye Diseases.:-
Following remedial measures should be done for eye diseases.
1. Recitation of Chakushi Vidya Stotram Daily
2.Recitation of Aditya Hriday Stotram on each Sunday.
3. No use of salt on Sundays.
4. Offer Water to Sun God in a Copper Vessel Daily .
5. Recitation of Beej Mantra of Sun 7000 times.
6.Recitation of Maha Mritunjay Mantra 108 times a Day.
7.If there is Glaucoma then recite Budh Stotram also.
8. If there is Glaucoma then recite Shani Stotram also.
9. If problem relate to Lens of the eye then feed the cows and donate cosmetics to the young ladies.
10. Also recite Laxmi Ashtotar Shatnaam Stotram Daily.
